I have always been fascinated with European history and as an avid Eu4/Total war player I have always enjoyed this time period. In the United States we never really learn about the Thirty Years War and the only part of the Seven Years war we hear about is the American theater.   This book is the fullest account ever written of the French navy’s role in the hostilities. It is also the most complete survey of both phases of the war: the French and Indian War in North America (–60) and the Seven Years’ War in Europe (–63), which are Cited by:
